Biography

University Attended:
I attended the College of St. Catherine, and went to the University of Minnesota for Medical School and my residency in OB-Gyn. I started our group with Dr. Wilbrand-Conley and Dr. Kohls in 1991 with the conviction that patients and their doctors work together to make things better, and that mission stands to this day.

About Me:
Personally, I come from a humble background and large family. I have always lived in the Saint Paul area, presently Stillwater. I was the first and for a long time the only one to be college educated in my family. I am married, and have 2 step-daughters, 2 daughters, and one son-in-law. Like most people, I have had a mixture of good fortune and very challenging times in my life, and I do believe that helps me to understand what my patients may be experiencing.

Education:

Why I Went Into This Field:
What I enjoy most about medicine is the people. In guiding women through beginning or continuing their families, my role is to help them achieve a healthy outcome. With my robotic experience and training, I can treat complex gynecologic problems not only medically, but surgically as well. Having the skills and experience to help women manage their health, menstrual, contraceptive, obstetric, and pelvic prolapse problems is rewarding.

What I would want new and existing patients to know about me is that I will work with them to define or reach their health related goals, whether simple or complex, and I am an experienced and ‘patient’ resource. It is a privilege to serve.
